Just saw what looked like half of Chiang Mai dressed in CMFC colours driving in a victory parade along Huay Gaew - anyone what happened today?

Today was the last home game of the league. They won the league and were presented with the trophy today, hence the celebration.

Great atmosphere out there today and The Tigers deserved there 3-1 win. Unfortunately the water logged pitch meant the game was not the best quality but a fun afternoon enjoyed by all - oh, except the Sukhotai supporters I guess! So after winning the league convincingly over 30 games, they now have to go through a series of playoffs to get promotion-bizarre.

Whether they go up or not I guess I'll have to do some research for next season and come along for a few matches

Games are a fun time, casual in the Thai style, cheap and cheerful. Often meet other families but as we're usually all Americans we only keep 1/2 an eye on the "football" and the other 3/4 on our beers
