I would assume because it is the same clique of people that reply on that forum as this one.......I may be wrong.

Yes, you're wrong.

There're two sites - a discussion board and a job/ resumes/ articles site. On the latter resumes and job adverts are posted. That's what OP is talking about.

Guess you didn't know.

Ah...let me guess....."fredflintstone" ...... but as the OP was asking a question about uploading his resume on this forum, the second reply stated why not ask them (ajarn forum) how to do it.... my reply was ilked towards the same "people" on that site that seem to proliferate "many" thailand forums. Like Tripadvisor.....TV........AJforum......buttocks are beautiful forum....and so on....

and yes I do not know as that "other" forum gets boring with the same 7 people replying to the same 7 subjects.....anna kay, fred, pee, torkey....and the rest.....

Why not ask them on there?

The forum is different the the job / resume section. The forum administrator replied saying I had to ask the job / resume section, I did not see any way to contact the job / resume section, so I filled out their fields.

Not sure if you "have to or not", but if you don't, you will have nothing but your picture and a link to your resume. Which would most likely make putting the resume up useless. Those that peruse the resumes are looking for quick details to try and recruit you.

ajarn forums and ajarn main website are completel separate. They are run opperated by different people. Often they know and respond on the forums about the main site but they are separate. So actually asking Phil would probably do you more good than here.

As a side note, why would you ever post your resume on any public site? You will open yourself up to total spam. Also the majority of people that actually look at those resumes are recruiters. You usually do better getting hired directly from a school.

If you are really set on putting your resume up, there are other sites like Daves esl, serious teacher also.

I do the advertising for our school and use the site. When someone responds with one of the ajarn resumes, it's pretty thin on information. I've never had one come with anything but the information you see on the resume form.

About 90% of those that I receive get deleted. Those that I get and then a follow up with a full resume/CV get my attention. So, if you are really looking for work, then fill out their resume form. It's good in some ways, it's brief, it's easy to read, The essential facts are there. If, however, you are serious about a particular job, be sure and send a full resume/CV.
