NONG KHAI, 04 Oct 2013 (NNT) - Nong Khai Governor Wirat Limsuwat has affirmed his province's readiness in hosting the Government's first road show to promote its 2 trillion baht infrastructure development projects.


The Roadshow, entitled "Thailand Tomorrow 2020", kicks off today and will run until Sunday, October 6th with an aim to raise understanding about the mega projects among locals in the affected areas.

Mr. Wirat told the media amid busy preparations for the event being arranged at the Prachak Silpakhom Convention Hall and around the City Hall, saying he was optimistic that the mega projects would improve the province's economy and border trade. He added that local people shared his feeling and were pleased that the Government has chosen Nong Khai the first province for the roadshow.

The Thailand Tomorrow 2020 Roadshow will be conducted in 11 other provinces namely Nakhon Ratchasima, Chonburi, Ubon Ratchathani, Khon Kaen, Nakhon Sawan, Chachoengsao, Ayutthaya, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phetchaburi, Chiang Mai and Songkhla.
