The new bridge is now open so anyone heading from Donsak to Surat airport should save some time bypassing the town.

If you are coming from Donsak on the 401, at the Bang Kung intersection (thats BigC) turn right. Then about 1.5kms turn left onto 420. That road will take you onto the 417 (airport road) about halfway between Central plaza and the juction with the 41.

views from the top are brilliant, didnt realize there were so many interesting sights here. Wife manages a business at the Paknam Tapi port so we pass this regularly and checked it out when it was opened, actually worth pulling over at the top and having a look, there were heaps doing it, even had food, drink and icecream carts there, bloody great picnic for all the lookers
