scorecard
Found a couple of suck blocks but they come with knives as a complete set. We already have a good selection of fairly new good quality kitchen knives so only want the block. Already searched the main shopping places but no luck. Anybody noticed them anywhere in CM? Any leads much appreciated.
FolkGuitar
I've seen them sold in Big C Extra on the Superhighway, as well as in Warrarote Market. Also sold in the Saturday morning Water Buffalo Market the other side of Hang Dong. Price between 300 baht to 600 baht. Hold about 6-8 knives. wynzlo
Last week I spotted some handmade blocks at Ban Tawai. Pretty sure it was the "Jarruk Idea" shop at the far end of the main strip where I saw them. Call and check first. Torrens54
If all else fails, I think I saw some in Robinson Airport Plaza (top floor) recently. They had some cheap looking knives in them but if you have decent quality, (and if they fit) you could toss out the crap knives and use the block for your others. I guess you mean in the big area where they have the big display of refrigerators, micro-waves, etc etc?
Billmont
I now use a magnetic strip, more convenient for me. My wife still uses the wood block for her "hatchet".Bought wood block some years back in The Mall Korat, the mag strip from the Uk but they now have or rather I have seen them also in The Mall quite recently but only one size. In the UK you have a choice of lengths.
