Massaman curry -- where is the good stuff?

I like it at Cafe Le Mar on Jomtien beach road about 1 KM south of Chaiyuprek. Comes with Roti bread, cost is B220. I'm sure there are cheaper and more rustic places, but it hits the spot for me.

About the mediocre level of most of the Thai food at that place, with a few exceptions that are better.

Would appreciate hearing what you rate.

Mainly the Hor Mok Talay and the chili shrimp w/ stinky beans.

I just came back from Phuket (Ao Karon) and Krabi (Ao Nang, I recommend Jeannette's) ). I found the massaman in both places excellent. Most included potatoes, onions and a few carrots and one had some green peppers. I really like the extra veggies. It goes so good with rice. Places in Pattaya so often just include chicken and maybe some potatoes.
