Dizzy When Standing Up

I've been doing a lot of work in my garden recently and when I stand up from squatting I feel dizzy and my vision is a bit blurred for a couple of seconds.

Any idea what this could be?

I'm 48 and have a very low heartrate(48 bpm sitting here typing this)

I can't do anything but stand there for a couple of seconds until it goes away. Think I'll see the doc tomorrow.

This may be brought on by heat exposure, dehydration and, combined with such a low heart rate would definitely be a cause.

Best to have this evaluated by a cardiologist.

If the OP isn't a "young, strong, healthy athlete", he should go see the doc. Could be just circulatory but I doubt that there are any heart specialists on this forum.

Good idea for you to see a doctor.

As a minimum, as well as a clinical physical examination, you should make sure that you have an ECG , Chest X ray and blood tests which include a full blood count and blood chemistry.

Consult your physician - you will most likely be referred to a cardiologist and diagnosed with bradyarrhythmia.
