Train sleeper , how big are they?

I often use the second class air con sleeper BKK-UBON (12 hour trip!!!). I am 1.84 cm so that would be...6.03 feet?

I feel the lower bunk is already 5 - 10 cm too short for me. I can compensate a bit by lying

diagonal, but I never really sleep comfortable. Would add that I keep a plastic bag with most

valuable belongings under the mattras as a precaution.

Word of advice to OP: try to get a bunk not too close to the door, too noisy.

That goes against what the rest have said. Not that Im doubting you, after all if you don't fit then you don't fit but you are 6ft and a 1/2 inch tall

others being 6ft and 4 inches tall say they are okay and the publicized length is 6ft and 5 inches,

now its confusing. You sure your height is measured right?

Okay guys here are the official numbers sent to me from thai rail today

1st class L194 cm x W80 cm

2nd class L186 cm x W72-102 cm(width up to bogie)

186cm = 6ft.1" for second class sleeper. Im guessing a few inches can be gained by sleeping diagonally
