The first car you can....and assemble in your garage?

They must have forgotten to Google Caterham or Westfield or .....

Anyone into DIY can lament the days when you could build a Rotorway helicopter in your garage! I stand corrected one still can order and build a Rotorway helicopter in one's garage.smile.png

Africar was designed to be made out of plywood so I guess one could have built the body out of the boxes the other stuff arrived in?

When you consider that 3D printing is becoming as cheap as it is out of your home or garage, should be able to print out all of the components for about anything material, cars, boats, planes, helicopters, space ships...soon.

I'm sorry, being a race car engineer and having built race cars from the ground up myself, there is no way that car will be built by a single person in 1 hour.. A bit misleading to say the least.. I like the concept though, but very limited uses in most countries, riding in the back yard as they demonstrate to me is not worth under $6000 dollars and DIY, I'd rather buy a nicely equipped quad or something similar..

Remember the BMW Z1 ?

This car had the concept that all the panels could be removed and replaced with another color, according to BMW in a time frame of 40 minutes.

I've owned a few of them, and to remove all the panels and replace them could be done in 2 days, if you were lucky laugh.pnglaugh.png
