tingtongteesood
If it fails, how about incarcerating these plundering crooks for treason and not defending nor respecting the laws which already exist and should be upheld. BRAVO !!

You have an amazing imagination young man. The fact is that the 21st century arrived 13 years ago and Thailand is flying on new Warp engines. As for calling the current "government plundering crooks that don't respect the law" I suggest that you avail yourself of a new crystal ball and dispense with your mirror mirror on the wall adjudication panel. You sir, are a comedy genius. Respect.
CUNJU
All I can say, it is very sad sitting here watching Thailand destroy itself! The world is watching, Just look at the New York Times with their weekly articles about how Corruption is rapant in Thailand!!

Purely my personal opinion of course.
Thaddeus
Sarcasm Bill. Thinking about it, that's what they should call this proposal.

I caught the sarcasm though I suspect that indyuk may not be bright enough to see it. Like a Toc H lamp.
Popular Post timewilltell
Quite how this Amnesty Bill is going to provide ANY reconciliation is beyond me. It is so clearly a device to get Thaksin and his billions back together in his homeland; a homeland that he has set about trying to destroy for his personal gain. Even if he were not guilty of the offences charged originally ( which is a fair stretch of the imagination ), his behavior since has been anything but reconciliatory. This bill is nothing about reconciliation and Thailand as a whole needs no reconciliation, a few individuals maybe but nothing wholesale. It needs justice for all, it needs its laws strengthened, it needs to lose the defamation and lese majeste laws and it needs some politicians who love the country rather than loved what they can screw out of it and they need a zero tolerance policy against corruption. If it got these things reconciliation would occur naturally. Why does a country need to prostrate itself in front of the world for the Likes of Thaksin - it is demeaning and belittling of a nation that deserves much better.
