Guess I'm naive ....."freelancers" meaning ?????

OH!....get it now....I AM naive....

Why would freelancers wear just white?

Maybe that means their a Virgin? Ha Ha Ha!

In all seriousness, i believe so.

If you see a white-hatted female in a tourist area/red light area, then you are relatively safe to assume she is a freelancer.

Woops, that certainly sheds some light on a few interactions that didn't turn out so well. I thought it was white hair not white hats.wub.png

OP, assuming you aren't just bored, where did you get that little gem ? I suspect that if you heard the term 'White Knight' you would expect to see a Farang on a horse ? I pray we never have to explain 'Red Wings' to you ;)

They don't need a white hat. You'll recognize them because as you walk past them they will say to you either "where you go?", or "I go with you?"

Simple really. coffee1.gif

EDIT: The REALLY sharp ones will say "You forget me already?". They're the ones to watch out for.

Ah. That'll explain why my invitation from white hatted person to a "hot party" didn't turn out as I expected...

Some of the Pattaya Beach Road freelancers wear white hats under the palm trees, to protect their hair from bird droppings.

Let's face it, who in their right mind would be attracted to a Thai girl who had shitty hair.

One needs to be careful with this white hat assumption. Many of the Chinese tour groups wear them and that little flag is for them to follow ... it is not for us to tag along thinking we're off to some sort of party.

It is true, and the angle at which it is worn denotes the specialty of the wearer.

What does backwards mean?

OP should be cautious, he might mistake foreign legionnaires for freelancers.

That's a mistake he'd only make once, but the last time I checked Legionnaires don't wander around Thailand wearing the Kepi Blanc, despite what your special farces (sic) mates down at Soi 6 might have told you.

They are invisible white hats .Only the depraved monger sex addict can see them .

An alternative POV might be that only a moron could fail to spot a freelancer from a hundred metres away. Food for thought.
