Hi there, Bangkok Motor Expo at Impact Muang Thong Thani coming at the end of the month, how far is the venue from Pratunam...what are the transport options available and how much by taxi, I understand it's quite a distance.....thanks

It's not that far...you can take the subway/BTS to chatacuk where they run a shuttle to impact center. Check their website for details. Taxi would be around B200 or so if you can find one to take you there.

I've always thought of it as being out in the sticks! But I've only been there 3 times.

Yes, get the shuttle. I think they run every 20 minutes or so.

If you've ever been to Immigration Chaengwatta, they you are just 10 minutes from it. Much easier in your own car I guess, as you just come off the expressway, but as others said there is some shuttle bus, but I've never used it as I like in the area.
