Damaz6052
Hi, where in Phuket can I buy this? It needs to be 50-80cm wide and 4m long. Cheers Edited November 1, 2013 by Damaz6052
LivinginKata
Are you sure you mean 50 - 80 cms ? The largest PVC pipe I have bought is only 6 inches or 15.5 cm diameter. You should try a big builders merchant such as Sanchai on the bypass road and ask what industrial pipes they stock.
jocko
Normal PVC max size is 300mm, the water companies in the UK lay PE pipe up to 600mm so you could check if that is available in Thailand. What do you want to use it for?

Like they use on commercial kitchen extractors. It doesn't have to be PVC any pipe would do. It must be straight and light weight. A metal fabrication shop could make tube 50cm wide. Guest
Would these do? Looks like somewhere around 40cm in diameter. Those are quite heavy duty and would weigh quite a lot. Maybe some aluminium tube would be better? http://www.phuketgazette.net/phuket_news/2013/Phuket-residential-areas-hit-by-water-shutoffs-22785.html
NamKangMan
Not sure what application you need it for, but, if you can not source a manufactured piece of pipe, because the diameter is quite large, maybe you can get a thin strip copper sheeting, or similar, which is flexible, and bend the two ends up, and bolt them together. Basically, very similar to a "collar." If it needs to be waterproof, you could fill the joint with silicone sealer. Just an idea.
