Doing a quick internet search and posting it as if you know what your talking about may not be super helpful. This substance like any other can be very harmful, but no where near as harmful as alcohol. Even water has an MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) denoting it's harms.

What I do know, is that he is more of a fool to have showed up at the Poipet border crossing dressed the way he was.

Had he been wearing a clean, long sleeved shirt and slacks and acting a little less macho, he might just have made it through untouched. Not that I condone that either.

Customs and Immigration police probably profiled him as a fair target. They got lucky.

Fortunately, he should be able to look after himself where he is going for a short stay.
