Nostalgic for some of us, an education for others.

    Fascinating piece of nostalgia. Spurs went on to win the double in the following season. The few shots of the FA Cup Final near the end was I believe the 1959 Final won by Nottingham Forest who beat Luton Town 2-1. The first goal was scored by Roy Dwight who broke his leg after about 20 minutes when Forest were leading 2-0. He was a cousin of Elton John.

    A real quality bit of filming. Usually the 50's are shown as a b/w decade but the colour gives it reality, apart from the footballers hamming it up doing DIYlaugh.png
