Uncertainty of retirement extension even requirements are OK ?

I am not sure I understand it correctly - but I have never heard of anybody paying taxes in Thailand for example for their pension income - or am I completely mistaken ?

It was you who raised the issue of tax.

You have to read the wording carefully.

And read 2.1 2 that states income from jobs and etc. So pensions are exempt.

In Germany and I suspect in most other countries Thai embassies or general consulates don't grant OAs to dependents of retirees..They get,as a general rule,only non-im O visas which limit your stay to 90 days.

They will do it for a couple but both have to qualify and apply separately.

If not they should get single entry non-o visas from a honorary consulate and get extensions here.
