At last, I have reached the first mile

Not that it is important to anyone (maybe not even to me) but just to express some gratitude towards the founder(s), mods and all active (positive) participants of Thai Visa

Of course I wonder why, sometimes, the replies are so judgmental, not to say hateful, but I guess that it comes with the territory. (I know, I know, one cannot expect to live in a world where people are nice for the sake of it )

Personally the Good Samaritan in me is always trying to find a way to help and give (correct) answers (although I have, on some occasions, be proven wrong, nobody is perfect) and I browse Thai visa, mainly for that reason.

As a matter of fact I don't remember how, nor why I have "joined" but I kind of got addicted, taking pleasure at reading some posts, learning, enquiring, Of course, from time to time, I access the visa section, as I live in Thailand, but admit to be more attracted to the travel forum although I open most of them

I also should point out that I have been lucky enough to receive efficient help every time I posted a query (special thanks to Sheryl, who sort of leads the medical section)

How about you? What is your reason for posting here? How did you arrive on Thai Visa? And why do you stay? (not that obvious an answer when some posters seem to discredit that interactive tool)?

Thai Visa is the most interesting forum I've come across, its like a car crash. Every day reports of Indians having their wallets stolen, lady boy attacks, drugged germans. Its entertaining even if not in Thailand

Really don't understand these people who complain us goverment and NSA but like to keep the same account to post as much as they can and who use the same account name accross websites.. Do you feel proud that anyone can track you so easily ?

it's been a difficult mile I guess!

I've added a like to Op to up the numbers.

Incidently how do you find out how many likes you have? I'm very relaxed if I have zero likes

Ooops....I didn't know I had entered a pissing contest as I am not in for recognition, just happy to share my experiences, but thank you for letting me know how many likes I have.

Nevertheless, I hope you didn't take my comment personally (original post which, really, at least I thought, doesn't call for bashing) although you clearly seem to fit the category.

Wow, getting answers I didn't expect is going to allow me to reach the next thousandth earlier than planned

The answer: none but two warnings: because I had started a thread under another alias as I felt it was more appealing (a specific matter regarding the situation of a few of us), which I know,now, is not allowed

The second time was a typo error which the modo understood but, for the sake of it, had to inform me about it

Now you have got your answer, maybe you could answer the op......

Check in your profile, I did it you had 67 I add one so now 68 tongue.png

Maybe you're right but I am like a cat, seven lives. Does that count? If you do the maths,it accounts then for 7.000 posts ( I will not disclose my other lives)

So, from what I understand most of the replies I get come from posters living in a virtual world, abiding by a Facebooklike rules.
