I have done my last couple of yearly extensions in Udon Thani. We have since relocated to Pattaya so my third extension would be filed in Jomtien next month.

Apart from the ID cards, wedding certificates, passport, proof of funds/income, pictures, maps and copies of everything, are there any extra's that are required by Jomtien Immigration?

Do they require a recent copy of the Kor Ror 2 wedding registration form in addition to the wedding certificate? Udon accepted the original. We were married in Banglamung so not a hassle if needed.

In Udon we own a house and I had a yellow book for my residential proof. We are in a rental property here so apart from a copy of the rental house blue book and the house rental contract, what else will they need to see?

Finally, a few extension filers in Udon were commenting that they were asked to complete a form that would appear to be the one that the landlord is supposed to file regarding foreigners living in their property. Is that something they require in Jomtien Immigration too? Or maybe my landlady has already filed a copy (I need to ask her)?

Thanks in advance.

I suggest you get an updated Kor Ror 2. You can get them at any Amphoe for a cost of 20 baht.

Rental contract with signed copies of owners ID card and house book.

I don't recall them asking for TM30 from landlord.

A quick question regards the updated Kor Ror 2, does the Amphur need to see both of us or can either of us get it with a copy of the other partners current ID?... and 20 baht!

I will ask the landlady for a signed scan of her house book and her ID card.

In Udon, we needed to bring a witness and a signed copy of his/her ID card. The neighbours sons did that for us but we don't have any neighbours here that we know. There is a couple from Udon that used to be our neighbours up there that now live over on Kaotalo. I guess their signed ID and nod at the office would work no? Or does the landlady's ID suffice?

Thanks!

Either of you can get it alone. My wife just showed her ID card to get ours and I wasn't with her.

You will not need witnesses at Jomtien they do home visits for first extension.

Thanks for that. The Udon chaps never checked on us for the 2 years I extended up there so good to know they will do so down here. I hope they don't call while I am away at work out of the country.

Never needed witnesses, nobody ever came to check. I don't think they have the manpower to go checking around. And yes this was Jomthien office, marriage extension. Always used the original KR2 for the last four years, no problem.

That said, every year they make me jump through some hoops with a new slip of paper required. Last year I think it was our sons birth certificate, although he's got nothing to do with the extension itself.

Doing my first extension this week at Jomtien and would appreciate if anyone could clarify if the bank statement/letter required needs to be issued same day or can be done day before provided officer is not in a bad mood.
