Renowned stunt driver Russ Swift thrills auto-show crowd

World-famous stunt driver Russ Swift was recently in Bangkok to entertain Thai spectators in the "Russ Swift Stunt Show 2013" during the recently concluded Thailand International Motor Expo.

The event was organised by TC Subaru (Thailand), which is the official distributor of Subaru vehicles in the country.

"This event was held for the fifth consecutive year and this year we highlighted the Subaru BRZ sports car for the first time along with the WRX STi, to exhibit the outstanding capabilities of Subaru cars," company general manager Apichai Thammsirarak said.

The show allowed spectators to experience the difference in performance between all-wheel-drive Subaru cars and other models, whether in terms of engine balance and handling, he added.

Swift, an Englishman, has three Guinness world driving records under his belt. His performance included "donut" driving, a "two-wheeling" dance routine, J-turn/parallel parking and drifting.
