One of my favorites started in Jan 2005 and is still going strong today with over 640 posts.

"Are Aussies Really So Bad" in the joke forum, has pics, jokes, racist slagoffs and many other hilarious, and sometimes painfully awful, posts about Aussies and others who can give and take.

It proves Aussies, perhaps more than any other nation on earth, can laugh at themselves.

(Yes, I know Chuckok, we have more reason!)

That is a great thread Old Croc, and it will be ongoing for quite some time I think.

Quote from "What's The Most Insane, Silliest Thread, Ever?" thread:

This one is up there in the top 10... and most of Tipps threads also...

totster :D

:o

Ahem, one of my most enjoyable topics was one I actually started myself. Neener.gifWhat Was Thailand Like Years Ago? That one was great for me to read about TV members' personal experiences and accountings of Thailand in years past. Long read start to finish, though.

Dying Girlfriend? was awesome; perhaps the best I'd read since it was a shining example of the true human spirit that is within all of us. I'll admit it made me cry.

For humour it has to be the forementioned Toilets In Thailand, How do you get along with the "spread your legs and kneel" and it's predecessor Battle over the wipe, Open minded, but i have limitations... <deleted> hilarious!!!!

Forgot to mention that I thought the true hearts of all TV members really shone out brightly on that thread. Very touching to see. That's well worth highlighting. :o

I vote for the one that is, I trhink the most mentioned. Dying girlfriend. Very touching. Another was about a dying monk in the Buddhism forum. Can't remember the title but it was started by ThaiPauly and closed down at his request. Shows a remarkable generosity of spirit.

You need to go back to 2003 to see the wilder threads.

No offense meant but .....Rain? yawn

I will post a few links to my fave threads , back in the days when most of you were a twinkle in your ISP's seedsack. In them ol days we got away with a few things , these days are bland , and so are the threads unfortunately.

Watch this space.. :D

Mr Vietnam and me....

Bud

Those whose name should never be heard....

There is some memorable names in there chonabot. And some we would like to forget :o

I wonder how many of us 2003'ers are left posting regulalry?

Worth a thread?

There are only a precious few of us left Tuky. Actually I did start a thread a while ago that was about the older posters on TV that we dont see anymore. Thread didnt get much attention because the sheer number of 2003er's left is small. :D
