You had to be there but it was superb when they then all jogged off up the road. My family from Australia was there and cracked up laughing. Ahh, you had to be there. The young kid from next door, maybe 5 or 6 years old always hangs around. He's got no father figure, so I'm the occasional role model (poor kid ... will need counselling later). So (back to the toast bit) ... the funniest thing was watching his expression change from that of a big happy kid to, after licking the knife, his whole world was opened up to a new taste experience ... It took two days, but two Kiwi's with one shovel and two wheelbarrows could have done it in 4 hours. Why don't Thais understand the concept of wheeled technology for manually moving <deleted>? David, I suspect weegee is only suggesting it was funny purely because the rider was unhurt and brought his misfortune on himself. I do confess to having been on both sides of that coin myself. I've been both the stunned mullet looking sadly at my demolished piece of machinery through my own ineptitude, as well as laughing at some pratt that totals his bike through stupidity but emerges unscathed. A dick head in the weeds is . The only time it's not quite so funny is when it's you (as in the 1st person) that's the <deleted> in the weeds. Especially when you're driven back to the pits in the recue truck with weeds hanging out the back of your helmet, covered in mud, with 18 pieces of your bike clutched to your chest, and you know that EVERYBODY knows you were stupid to try and pass the girl on the pink GSXR on the outside of a 100klm bend at 120klm. Yeah i would have to agree with David, humanity lives in a bubble, its difficult for them to connect to anything out side of it, ESPECIALLY today when every body likes to paint a story with their own brush... First - a neighbour was asking me different ways of saying good bye - Cheerio, TTFN, have a nice day, bye for now, see you later and enjoy the rest of your day etc, I said we east coast Canucks usually say "enjoy the rest of your day" after a long chat with her on a different subject I had to leave and she pipes out "Enjoy the rest of your DAYS" - maybe she knows something I don't Second- I was buying a shirt and decided to take a few sizes to the change room and the clerk insisted on helping me. I tried on the medium and said "this shirt is too small" without missing a beat she responds "the shirt isn't too small" it took me exactly one second to realise she was calling me fat and I burst out laughing the entire store could here me roaring. Third- MIL is pure gold and we go out shopping all the time and have a blast. I wanted to take her to Chinatown to buy some leather so she could make stuff. She isn't a fan of Chinese food but I insisted and filled her full of Chinese tea, after walking she asks me if I know where there is a washroom, we found one and she went to do her business. After we were walking I looked down and said WHY are you only wearing ONE sock with your sandals? she smiled and said she forgot tissue.
