Sounds like you don't understand the scam. Actually the John is taken to a prearranged bed ... not to the John's room. It would take a lot of balls ... even though most ladyboys do have them ... for the ladyboy to get past security in my hotel or condo, then sneak into my room and under my bed undetected ... and then to get from under the bed and rob me while I sleep undisturbed. Not a big surprise. Personally can't take more than three nights in Pattaya. Been there done that.

When I'm in Pattaya I usually go to Sabai Soapy Massage. There you're not hustled by one gal to buy all her friends and the mamasan a drink -- the girls are clean and happy to work there. True it is! Thailand is a matriarcal society. Going back to my talks with bar girls - most of them were married young to a Thai man who gave them a child or two, but wouldn't get off his lazy ass to support his family. They divorce and she has no way to support her child, no further education or job skills. So she goes to Bangkok or Pattaya and gets a job in massage or a go-go club and sends money back to mother, who is raising her child. She knows she has to take charge or her whole life and the life of her child will go to shit. So it really isn't about sex to them, it is all about a job to make money and support her life in the big city and her family back home. Many of the veteran sex workers would rather it to be a production line - boom-boom next, boom-boom next. They have their finances all figured out. They earn it, wheras their counterpart Thai men waste it. Also, I've met a lot of straight Thai women who have a dream of marrying a "rich farang" but end up with a lazy bum. After spending all his money to buy her a house, she has to work her ass off to maintain it. She becomes the dominant "bitch" to him, telling him to go out and get a job, but he goes to the bar instead and complains with his farang buddies, who have created the same miserable life for themselves. There is a whole huge sub-culture in Thailand around this subject - not so simple as being with a bar girl or marrying a Thai woman. Much to consider. As far as Insomnia goes - Pattaya is a pretty big city and Insomnia is probably the most popular disco club there. All sorts of young people go there, regardless of its location. Bar girls on Walking Street usually work until 2am. So the ones you see there before 2am are probably with a long-time man, or free-lance, which you should avoid.

That's the thing with men - they can be old and look young. Maybe some bar girls are bullshitting me, but normal people think I'm 50, not 66. It's because I have taken care of myself. I shave, dress well: I'm a gentleman and tell the bar girls right away that I want to have fun and make THEM happy. It also helps that I have taken the time to learn to speak Thai. They all respect that and see me as different. They get right away that I have a very young attitude. I play with the gals, joke with them and have fun. They tell me that most men are very serious.
