Burmese Visa Runs by Land - 30 days.

hey all,

last week I crossed from ranong to burma. cost me 300bht (10 dollars) for entry to burma, and 200bht for the longtail across and back from ranong. 500 bht got me 30 days stamped in my passport on a transit there as I have a US passport. It took me one hour to do the whole thing. easy peezey lemon squeezey.

Question, i would like to do to the same soon in kanchanaburi, is this possible? or do i need to start going back to scambodia and fill my passports with stamps and stickers again.

if anyone has crossed recently, departing from bkk, please update!

There is a crossing in Kanchanaburi. Not sure about organized border runs yet.

Yes Canada and the other G7 countries get 30 day entries by land since Nov.1st of last year.
