Do thai University girls avoid relationships with Farang?

For not knowing me and who I am and what I do that is a big generalization on your part

would you not say!

Just because I have now become a member of TV does not mean that I have not

been reading the posts on TV.

Sitting on a computer all day does not seem to interest me that much!

One thing I have noticed about this post on university girls is that not one guy

has mentioned that he has a university or even a college degree!

If I have missed it I am sure someone will point it out to me!

Several guys have said they teach English at such and such university.

And why would I want to buy you dinner as you are the one wanting to prove the point

of your wife having a university degree which can be easily forged along with passports,

work histories, and birth certificates!

If you have lived here long enough for a few bahts anything is possible here in Thailand!

Just saying if you have been here for so many years but have not come acrrosss a farang married to a collge grad that you either don't go out or don't hang in those circles. Nothing wrong being married to a bar girl have a friend in US has been married for 9 years has a son with her and the marriage is good. Another been with girl almost 2 years living here but have also seen and heard of major problems with some. Since you say paperwork can be forged no sense trying to prove anything to you but I met my wife after she had just graduated university and my friend married her sis who is a chemical engineer in Rayong could give you the name and you could call to ask for her at her company there but won't over this forum. Not saying anyone is better but don't generalise and say there are no farangs married to university girls because you would be wrong.

There you go again putting words in my mouth that I never said!

Please reread my post again!

No were in the post did I say, "there were no farangs married to university girls"

Also I said nothing being wrong with married to a bar girl!

They marry 'em (Farang teachers) at OUR university!

Sent from my tin can via string

Is there not any comeback from the university on this sort of thing?

There are plenty of University and College students in their twenties, so what would be wrong with a teacher marrying them if they went to teach at another school? or if the student herself went to another Uni?

Well, the key would be changing schools, wouldn't it. Hence the question

Without changing schools I would imagine it would be frowned upon. How would Thai teachers react, is it common for them to have relationships too?

A disturbing number of Thai teachers exchange sex (and many other "favors") for grades, so at least a university student marrying a Farang teacher is one step up on the moral ladder. Edited by Fookhaht

I can be as old as you need me to be wink.png;) oops I married sorry.

Oops I already have a boyfriend.

Be modern and have a gig.

I don't expect my bf to have one, so I won't. Oh and I can be modern without a gig. Having gigs is too mainstream here.

Long live mainstream. Maybe one day it will become mandatory.

Well actually my post was in answer to Possum as well as you ,if you check his posts he mentions being here 8 years but not knowing any farang married to university grad Thai girl. And is this not your post #77 ?

"POPULAR

The majority of TV members have a university educated gf or wife, so I don't think the avoid farang relationships.

"Wow, what a statement!

Been here in Thailand for 28 years and have never meet someone married to

a university student.

Been told by girls they are going to university and even shown an ID from the university but after

getting to know the girl they are an escort or massage lady."

Guys many of you are just sick. University girls are 40 years younger than you. Aldo here in Thailand they also have a mentality of 13 y.o. It is sick to want them.

The ravings of an insanely-jealous over-the-hiller.

Let me analyse your post.

Wet dreams? Nope...but used to get sticky underwear a few times in the past. Where is that clappy clappy emoticon thing when you need it.

Beer Bellies? Nope, gave up beer 3 years ago. in the gym, best shape of my life.

Fat Ex Bar Girl Wives: Firstly, no fat here mate. I have taste. Ex Bar Girl Wives. Nope, my wife has been to a bar before but only to use the washroom I think. I did date a skinny ex restaurant server once, she was married. Does that qualify?

Jealous: Really, not even a tiny lil wee bit?

Conclusion: We have sent your post for deep inspection and have concluded that it's full of shi... ;)

Well, I believe there are a few "preconditions" for a well-educated Thai girl to go along and marry a farang... do not underestimate the influence of other family members particularly if they, too, have university degrees. Status is immensly important, still. The higher the educational gap between farang and Thai girl, the less likely a relationship. Job is another issue. A middle or upper class family will not expect you to support them, but they do expect you to provide a certain level of living standard to their daughter, no matter she has a well paid or not so well paid job herself.

Thai language skills beyond "hiu khao mai" and "sabai dii" are important, too, I would say, unless the girl's English language skills are far above average.

To reply to some other comments in this thread: I think apart from some Pattaya bar girl, no Thai lady will show you a fake degree, or say she has one whithout actually ever having seen a uni from inside... I have, though, come across farangs who cheated their way into educational institutions with fake degrees.

And for the stats: my wife (Thai) has a PhD and I hold a BA(Hons)...

Well mate no worries looking at me then or my wife or our 2 sons. None of the above fits with your ignorant stereotyping sad to say. Now cheer up for chr..t's sake.

Sent from my LG-P970 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

It is not stereotyping but fact of the matter. 99% is the way I described. Good for you if you do not fit. Send us pictures.

I never understand why people get soooo angry about these things in their mind and then keep going on about it as though it's the norm

"grrrrrrr 70 year olds and schoolgirls" ... where? I don't freaking see them anywhere!!

And what do you see, may I ask ?
