Chuwit engages in brawl with protesters

"After the brawl, Chuwit returned home without voting. He said he would not file a complaint with police."

He won't file a complaint?

Maybe he's going to show he's a real Thai male and will return to sort things out when he's got a dozen or so mates with him.

Former pimp Chuwit and his bully boys did much better against the untended bars and stalls they demolished at dead of night, along with the livelihoods of their owners in Sukhumvit Soi 10. He also allegedly had no problem coercing under aged hill tribe girls to provide sexual services for politicians and senior police in his prostitution operations. A few male protestors in broad daylight proved too much for him. Oh well.

"Former pimp Chuwit and his bully boys did much better against the untended bars and stalls they demolished at dead of night".

Those would be the stalls that had expired leases, on his property, the operators of which refused to leave? And that area of Sukhumvit was much more pleasant then than it is now with that awful park that we now have to put up with.

"He also allegedly had no problem coercing under aged hill tribe girls to provide sexual services for politicians and senior police in his prostitution operations".

Allegedly, so nothing more than hearsay then. Was he charged with anything?

"A few male protestors in broad daylight proved too much for him".

Apparently not.

I am a bit confused......Why in the world is he encouraging people to go vote , when in essence

only YIngluck's name is on the ballot? Is the previous status quo of Thaksin and his clones

looting the country somehow beneficial to Chuwit ? Maybe Thai people are right, farang

cannot understand " Thainess".......

" when in essence only YIngluck's name is on the ballot?

You are confused, you seriously think her party is the only one fielding candidates?

To your first point. It's not what he did or whether it was right or wrong, it was the way he did it. Also the idea of a park only came about after the publicity surrounding his method of clearing the area. It is a nice park though.

To your second point. No not charged. Many aren't. No, no, not charged. Definitely not charged.

As to the fight, I can't honestly tell who is hitting who in it.

LOL. What a prat. Another politician who is proud of making a fortune from criminal activities and admired for doing so. That is the sickness of Thai society.

Indeed you seem to be. What was the criminal activity he was "so proud" of that you allege he was involved in? Properly licensed entertainment places?

I'm certain you wouldn't be singing the same tunes if one of your family members ended up in the prostitution ring run by Chuwit. Especially underage family members. I wouldn't be surprised that a brother or a father took the law in his hands. No matter how you try to paint him, he also belongs behind the bars.

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is a Thai, Party leader, with an inspiration to become PM.

God help us.

Politician or no politician, I'd like to see how calm you remain the next time you go to vote and somebody blows a whistle into your ear (then punches you). I guess as you're on the side of the 'peaceful' protest, you would probably just stand Buddha-like and let him do as he liked?

Do you ever have a sympathetic word for anybody not on your particular side of the fence?

And by the way it's 'ASPIRATION' not 'inspiration'. Your knee-jerk posts should at least be literate.

Actually it's "aspiration", lower case!

After watching the video of the altercation, I will give Chuwit his due, he got right back up and took it to them. No waiting to hide behind body guards, or 6 of them ganging up on one, just got down to what he has done for decades, grab the bull by the balls and give it a good pull. The young punk may have second thoughts the next time about going after the older folks.

why did they not turn all the big cameras on until the whole thing was nearly over ? all i can see is chuvit wrestling with a guy before they fall over and all his bodyguards swarm around the guy blocking everything from view

doesnt look like much of an attack by the PDRC to me

looked more like a publicity stunt to be honest ,not even a scratch on his face either ??

no,please check your facts

he has thousands of recordings of every politicician ,police chief and army general that ever used his clubs

and he has stated that if he decided to release them the divorce courts would be full more than once

he has even claimed on tv that if he has a fatal "accident " the videos will be leaked to media by an unknown third party

dont defend him if your too thick to follow his career over the years

I was expecting a lot more after reading the report, that clip doesn't really show anything.

You have evidence of this or is it just unproven rumour?

For what?

And for those of you who think I'm on Chuwit's side and don't like that, I may be but I may not be. What I am in favour of is rationality.

He has the right to vote. <deleted>. What a country.

Not to assault people though.

Well to be fair if it was an assault by Chuwit it would have meant that he struck first. By all accounts (except The Nation of course) the protester struck Chuwit first so it's more a case of self defence wouldn't you think.

Thailand needs more people like that.

It's called courage and not allowing oneself to be bullied or to allow intimidation to go unchecked.

I believe the man deserves praise.

maybe for this but hes another corrupt scumbag thai billionaire who has made his money through other peoples misery

hardly PM material IMO

anyway ,he went there with 20 bodyguards and a camera crew by the looks of it and he still didnt get to vote so not much chance

for a normal person

I remember him running for election and seeing him speak he is awesome(Reminds me of Steve Blamer during the 90's)! He is a evil guy for sure but his slogan was along the lines. I know I am bad but they are much worse. They should lock him in a room with Suthep and Chalarn let them all duke it out. I bet it would be a toss up between Chuvit and Chalarn trying to beat each other with Sutheps arms. If more Thais had the same spirit to people trying to take away their rights I don't think the Yellows would be causing as many problems for the country. Here is why I do not agree with Suthep. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_suffrage

There were credible allegations of underage girls working in his brothels and of him deliberately supplying underage girls to politicians and police chiefs to blackmail them. Of course all brushed under the carpet. I also remember being told that one of his establishments had a special room with very young Burmese and hill tribe girls on offer at a price but I never had any interest in checking that out.

He did not engage in a brawl - he was attacked by fascist animals and defended himself.

In defense of Chuwit if that is at all possible I am no fan of his - I think he is a perfect example of what is wrong with much of Thailand, but he came to vote and was attacked first - that is a fact that is not being reported by the Nation and conveniently not considered by many - He did nothing but walk down to vote and the men in black came running out whistle and all and attacked them. Normal Suthep Fascist supporter activity, to bad so many others don't have body guards to protect their rights. Oh I forgot earlier a Suthep a supporter on TV pointed out that rights are not real - just an idea spread by the west - Ha what was I thinking - they are Suthep supporters so it must be true.

It's something when a character like this understands principles better than his contemporaries in parliament.

Hated by them? He's got collections of little black books cataloguing every satang he paid them over the years.

He has a million favours owed to him.

I guess one is to assume that the man he held in a head-lock and repeatedly hit him is not filing a complaint either, though strangely the article didn't think that necessary to note !

Chuwit's image can be seen on campaign posters in the North with arms outstretched, gesticulating exuberance among the people. Those arms it seems are quite versatile.

That is because the man got hit for provoking and trying to disrupt and prevent chuwit from voting so he doesn't have the legitimate right to complain. It's plain common sense what his intentions were and he was the one that hit chuwit first or is it different in your country. In your country if someone assaults you first and you retaliate does he have the right to file a complaint about you hitting him back? Maybe yes. whistling.gif
