Chalerm asks Civil Court judges to clarify ruling

Chalerm using pictures of police planted weapons to strengthen his appeal to carry on cracking down...... Hilarious.

No weapons being used at all when police not cracking down.

Everyone knows those were planted by the cops.

Even if Chalerm convinces the court that the presence of this sort of weaponry is enough to crack down with LETHAL force, surely this totally exonerates Abhisit and Suthep for 2010 where there was plenty of evidence that red shirts were carrying much worse, and destroying BKK.

"Please, your Honors, is it ok to for us to shoot people or not?"

Of course, shoot away at the ones who shoot at you first and/or throw hand-grenades. By all means defend yourself when deadly violence is used against you.

He is so right, the court seem to forget about the little people who just want to move on with their lives, but are blocked to enter many government officers, face road blocks and some could no even vote because they were blocked by the peaceful protesters.

This may surprise you, but the 'little people' seem the least effected by the anti-government protests. It's much more the fat cats who worry.

Chalem is the worst Enemy of this country and he should be Fired by Yingluck if she wants to stay in power a bit more that she can. Charlem is just a loser that created all this chaos and making it worst. I as an 15 years residents hate this CORUPT man. Yingluck please kick his ass outta your system as that might brighten your government a bit and you stay a bit more.

Maybee we should use United Nations and collect money for free historybooks for that

Bangkok elite...They think that nothing is going to happen when they take away an elected

goverment, elections, rule of law from the majority of the people. -Sad it is. But maybe its

the way it have to be...Libya, Syria, Cuba, France, There are hundreds of example in the history!

Where was the esteemed Court decision when the Democrat and Army were blowing the red shirts to smithereens?

Do you really want us to rehash 2010 again? When 'unknowns' were blowing non-red-shirts to smithereens by lobbing grenades on and at them?

BTW who is 'the' Democrat you refer to?

good tactic from them.

the more they make the Courts explain themselves in detail, the more the complicity becomes visible..... Not to all, but to enough to call it a coup and bring sanctions down on Thailand if it suceeds.

Make the Courts explain a verdit in detail that yesterday most westen media were calling Bizarre, unfathomable, breathtaking, Now make them squirm as they have to answer nuts and bolts issues that they didn't expect to be having handed back to them

The problems are more now for the Country than PT. PT are the only ones with any right to rule based on democracy. So it's going to be head scratching time at the Courts again tonight.

Then, the fight for democracy starts in earnest against him. the very best Suthep can hope for is a brief stay in power.

The reds got them out every time ever and will get them out again if the Army or Courts let them back!!!

You declared yesterday you were aborting TV and leaving us. Changed you mind again then?

Which Western media would that be? You have any links?

PT lost the legitimacy to govern (His Majesty rules, although many PT supporters seem confused on that one) once they started to lie, cheat, act illegally and openly defy the courts. They are simply clinging on to power, at all costs and regardless of consequences, and are very nervous of what another administration may discover.

Note the little veiled threat throne in from Tarit. Think again or the rs thugs might be let loose. Sadly, the clan and their master are prepared to plunge this wonderful country into civil war if necessary for their own greed and self interest.

I wouldn't bet on the red shirt terrorists lasting long when the farmers all find out where the rice scam money really went and how they have been lied to. But again, sadly likely to lead to violence.

What has Bangkok Elite (who ever they may be) to do with the Civil court's ruling?

What has an election to do with the Civil Court's ruling?

What have foreign situations to do with the Civil Court's ruling?

OF course if you think that a democratic anti-government protest against an undemocratic, 'we can do' blanket amnesty bill pushing government is comparible with the 'Arab Spring', maybe you should be more current and compare with the situation in Kiev, Ukrania?

you also wrong about clinging to power... she disolved the house and it's up to the opposition (all 500 of them) to vote her out.

No danger of that then as we know the only route to power for them has always been coups and idiots like suthep sent out to hoodwink gulible people into joining a mob.

3 months in, and it not looking like it's happening. All support on Yingluck side and FB pleading that she stay on and don't let the democratic rights of the country be removed by these self serving lunatics.

So, not a bad attempt at a post, other than getting everything wrong. Bet all your money on the Reds coming out if there is a coup.... it's safe... they won't coup

"He then recalled the days when he was justice minister and had done many things beneficial to the judges.

He said he was not asking for a debt of gratitude from the court but he just wanted to have clarification."

A deliberate subtle attempt to say that the court should make decisions on the basis of who owes who a favour, and never mind decisions based on the law.

The sad thing is that chalerm has a ph.d. in law from Ramkamhaeng university, he should know better than to talk like this.

And no, I'm not going to explain as obviously you would only continue with obfuscation, untruths and baseless suggestions. Sad really, the Yingluck government is really getting into a desperate position it would seem. I don't remember ever having had so many posters coming to Ms. Yingluck's defense.

Giving juudgements that are "open to interpretation" is something the judiciary world wide is guilty of from time to time. On something as important as this, it is right to ask the court for clarification. For the sake of the people, the court should say exactly what it means.

I'm telling you they will come out IF there is a coup.... I don't think there will be and it will be very short lived if it were.

Believe what you want, and try shoot the messenger all you like. guarantee you. Enjoy this coup attempt, it will be the last!!!

Chalem looks nothing more like an idiot to me than anything else! Since when was the last time or anytime he did anything right to the public? He is only good at bullying the weak and the poor but when came the real thing, he was always not in sight. Did anyone here heard any news or have seen him in the southern provinces to solve the insurgencies' problem? For this uninitiated, he was giving orders in Bangkok, he is nothing but a coward too! Which Shinawatra people is not a coward to date?

Posted (edited)

To Chalerm Yoobamrung: The country doesn't belong to you either, nor to the Shinawatra clan. The people just want to take it back. And the court belongs to the people. Ok?

And this picture illustrates why the court is acting with this ruling now.

This is one of your lads, acting under your orders? Or is he a member of the mysterious "third group"

Think yourself lucky Khun Charlerm, that Thailand does not have death sentence.

By the way, have you seen the farmers on the move to Bangkok? Have you any idea why? Take a wild guess. I'll spare you the details Khun Charlerm, suffice to say that they are pissed off with those who pull your strings. Would you like to shoot the farmers too?

I'm curious who will bring these sanctions? has any country actually hinted at sanctions against Thailand if things turn out the way these countries don't like?

I won't bother questioning the rest of your thread, It is breathtakingly bizarre, and unfathomable!

When the redshirts fight for democracy 2010. The court put there leaders in jail for 9 month. Many still sitting in jail. The history is full of double standard. Oh yes, that seaside resort in Cha-am, real nice.

BTW no UDD leader is sitting in jail at the moment. For all Pheu Thai immediately offered bail till finally the court relented. Now the still lingering red-shirts are just cannon fodder, to no use to anyone, except as to be used as example of the cruelty of the government.

So the majority have the same law, but that doesn't apply to the political connected including all UDD leaders and other important red-shirts which were put on the Pheu Thai party list of candidates.

what's next, check the news about the anti-government protests in Kiev. Not a laughing matter though.

"When the redshirts fight for democracy 2010." ...? You mean trashing Bangkok and causing millions of Baht worth of damage? Where was your head then? Did you see the fires? .. even the smoke rising from the city? Do you know why Thaksin Shinawatra was removed from government? Do you know why he is hiding now? Do you know anything?
