billd766
Have you guys tried to run Firefox in Safe Mode Click Help , Restart with Add-ons disabled https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode Or create a new Firefox profile and try with the new profile. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles I just did a Firefox restart in the safe mode and it leapt into life with the add-ons disabled. Now which one or more of those nasty little buggers caused the problems? Edit I have disabled them all and I will try again in the morning. MJCM
^ it could also be a combination of add-ons. For example my GPS add-on (needed for communication with my GPS and some websites) and my download manager add-on refuse to work together. So because I don't need the GPS add-on that much I just created a separate Firefox profile which will only start that specific add-on, and in the other profiles this add-on is disabled. To create separate profiles, just look at the 2nd link in my original post Sent from my iPad, so please excuse any typos Edited March 4, 2014 by MJCM

stickylies
ps. i did notice that AVAST causes major issues on some sites. i have AVAST. example, using WETRANSFER (which i use often) is impossible with AVAST now. i mailed WETRANSFER and they say there's nothing they can do and suggested to use another antivirus.
