Looking for uk to Thai plug adapter please? online

Featured Replies

hi. I am trying to buy a uk to thai plug adapter. I have looked on ebay but no luck.

can anyone provide a link please?

thank you

If your in the UK, why not just go to your local electronics store & ask for an Universal Adapter. If in Thailand, look in any large shopping center's electronic's store such as "Power Buy".

Readily available in Thailand from any electrical place, even Tesco have them.

Much cheaper than buying a 'universal' travel adaptor in the UK.

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

If your electronics are here to stay may be better to just change the plug...

Pretty much every 7-11, mini-mart, Tesco, Big C etc. store in Thailand have them. If in the UK then any department store, electrical retailer, camera shop etc. Ebay or online seems a roundabout way to buy one unless there is some special circumstance that you can't go to a bricks and mortar store.

Buy one when you arrive. But if you really want to buy one online, try Amazon. Here's one that also has USB charger, which could be very useful --> Adaptor.

The why of this post deludes me. If anyone cannot find an "any" adapter for whatever product, of which product should never of been bought. Like someone with a computer asking you, "what's a folder?".

On the topic of adaptors, though I know it is not the type that the OP is looking for, I came across this wall-mounted adaptor in a small hotel which I thought was very nifty.

HomePro now sell the Universal sockets that you can wire directly in to you wall (similar to the one Talisman shows). They have Clipsal (Malaysia) and a German brand (which I forget)

These can take UK, USA, Thai etc plugs ......... I've put a few in select places in our house.

They are only just over B100 per socket.
