Pheu Thai 'not surprised' by loan bill verdict

You have to understand how much this must hurt in the loss of hopes of getting their snouts in the trough department.

And they went through all that trouble of getting rid of former Transport Ministry Permanent Secretary Supoj Saplom - corrupt yes, but that was not the problem, he was not the PTP's man and with Trillions to be spent on transport and infrastructure you simply must have the right man in the job. You need to understand, the planning of corruption is a complicated and sometimes long path.

Look at this ruling not so much as a triumph against corruption, rather a forestalling until the PTP come up with another scam to get their snouts on the public purse.

Correction - The PTP do not come up with these schemes - Thaksin thinks, the PTP acts …. and then blames the civil service when it all goes exactly as predicted.

Well done to the courts on this one.

No, Prompong, this issue won't end. As this bill has been deemed to be unconstitutional, the avenue is now open to lodge impeachment proceedings against Pheu Thai on the basis of its passage.

...........The government wants to lead the country to a better future, especially by creating opportunities and jobs, and improving quality of life," Mr. Prompong said, "So we can compete with other civilised nations".............

Bit late for that,

If its good for the goose...

PTP would be all over the Democrats if the roles were reversed, trying to get them disbanded for 5 years and the leaders thrown in jail...

... therefore the Democrats need to repay in kindness... and do the same thing.

The Sooner ALL political crooks get their day in court and some jailtime, the better... red, yellow, blue, pink, orange, black or brown...

Good to see Pheu Thai acknowledge that they were basically playing a con with his loan bill and accept with good grace that the judiciary didn't fall for it.

In time if a future government of whatever political persuasion can come up with a sound proposal for improving the nation's infrastructure I'm sure a loan would be considered but let's be grateful for now that the crooks and clowns who promoted this bill have been .... erm... derailed.

rubbish - they know the courts are same colour as the Simpsons

government should be allowed to govern
