Will the Epstein saga tear MAGA apart?
The "best case" scenario is that Trump comes out of this looking like Ohio Rep Jim Jordan: he knew what was going on but did absolutely nothing about it. Rep Jordan was a coach on a wrestling team where the team doctor has been accused of violating young boys. Former wrestlers claim Jordan knew everything. Jordan has been quoted as saying "That's Strauss", when confronted with the actions of Dr Strauss. Trump obviously and admittedly knew Epstein well, as pics and videos prove, and Epstein's long membership at Mar-a-Lago indicate. Trump has always been enamored of billionaires, and Epstein---somehow---became one. It seems very unlikely that a "stable genius" would not know what his friend and member was up to. During the time Trump was in the flight logs of Epstein's jet, the jet was already known as "The Lolita Express". Though Trump claims to have never read a book (quite believable), he certainly had to be aware of the meaning behind "Lolita". The worst case scenario is....well, LOTS and LOTS of redactions or "missing documents" in whatever is shuffled out to the media. -

Trump just made an idiot move
I would agree that Blackmail (in the conventional sense to obtain money) was unlikely to be a Billionaires motivation. However, Epstein was no fool, and was aware that his addiction to sex with young girls could land him in trouble. It was an addiction, made possible by his wealth, and like many addictions he could not rest it. It maybe that he maintained a record (a list) of those who were party to, and part of his antics, as a form of insurance. His death may be because he realised that the insurance policy wasn't going to work and so killed himself, or he may have been killed by ruthless people who knew or suspected that they were part of that insurance policy and had no wish to see it deployed. Returning to my first point, it was long known that Trump was party too Epstein's antics, that was known long before Obama, Clinton or Comey came on the scene. At that stage it could be dismissed as unsavoury, just more "Trump sleaze"; however accusations and circumstantial evidence are emerging that Trump was part of rather than merely party to those antics. Suspicions which are merely exacerbated by "the list is on my desk", "there is no list", " it's all a plot created by the Dems, Obama, Clinton, Comet, the media", "you're all stupid for believing it" hubris. The only way to lay this ghost is full open disclosure and rigourous public investigation by impartial figures; that is not going to happen. -

Article 30 When taking off from or landing at an aerodrome within the territory of the People's Republic of China, a foreign civil aircraft shall observe the aerodrome weather minima specified by the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China. If in the case of emergency, the pilot-in-command decides to land below the minima, he shall be held fully responsible for his decision and all the consequences arising therefrom. When the weather is extremely poor, the ATC service at the aerodrome shall close the aerodrome, prohibiting all take-offs and landings. Article 31 In case of hazardous weather that will endanger the aircraft en route or in the vicinity of an aerodrome of departure or landing within the territory of the People's Republic of China, the relevant ATC service of the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China may advise the pilot-in-command of the aircraft in the affected area to postpone the take-off, turn back or make a diversion to an alternate as appropriate. The pilot-in-command, however, has the right to make a final decision for which he is likewise to be responsible. -

Brilliant Don't see the brilliancy of that comment. In wasn't born in a Third World country, or moved to it because I can't afford to live in my country of birth. You have been fishing about which my country of birth is, but so far have failed on that because you have the IQ from a MAGA, and think that since my English language skills are better than yours that I must originate from a native English language country. I also have no reason to be obsessed with what is happening there, because it is a civilized country, and not ruled by an unhinged cult leader. When I see what is happening in the US currently, Waco always springs to mind, and I can't get rid of the thought that what happened there in 1993 will be the end result for the current cult. By coincidence, Texas was the breeding ground for that cult from David Koresh, and it turns out to also host a large majority of MAGA cult followers. -
