single female Philipine lady coming to thailand

A friend here has a young lady that he is involved with frmt he Philipines.

I have heard stories that the immigration there has issues with single ladies coming to Thailand.

The background early 20's and she has been a nanny there.

Are there any hassles and how can he overcome them.

Yes I have introduced him to the lovely ladies of LOS but he fancies this young lady.

The issue is human traffic and does not involve Thailand any more than any other country - a lady of that age should have provable reason for travel or may be detained and prevented at point of exit for there own protection (that is the official line and actual reason - many are tricked into travel and end up in lines of work that they had not expected). Best to have sponsor accompany and even that may be subject to close exam so they should know a lot about each other. Maybe he should consider a life there instead of here?

He is but is here for work and thought it would be nice to hve her here with him for a couple of weeks.

A lot of women here from the Philippines. Have her make a connection on facebook and ask the ladies about the problems encountered when arriving.

Tell to your friend that he can invite her. There's no problem as long as she has a documents to show to the immigration officer like roundtrip ticket and invitation from your friend.
