43 Gas stations in Buriram have stooped running their operations

At least 43 gas stations in Buriram Province have stopped running their operations due to the increase in fuel prices and the lack of liquidity.

Buriram provincial energy official Charoenlap Lathong (เจริญลาภ ฬาทอง) disclosed that 43 gas stations in the province have informed that they would like to shut down their businesses due to the increase in oil prices and that they are unable to bear the burden.

They claimed that the amount of sales has reduced to 140,000 liter per month, and they also forecasted that the figures will reduce.

The operators added that oil traders have adjusted the payment methods from credit to cash as they are not confident with the fluctuation of global oil prices.
