AIS 3G Dongle / Aircard - work with UK SIM in the UK?

Featured Replies

I am off to the UK for a couple of week and will need internet whilst on the move.

Does anyone know or have experience if a AIS 3g 21Mbps Dongle / Aircard will work with a PAYG 3g package from a UK supplier in the UK?

If not I can buy an unlocked one prior to my trip.

I appreciate your help.

My friend has an AIS dongle and it seems to have some programs in its ROM that run allowing you to connect to AIS. I doubt if it will work in the UK but the surest way to find out is to contact AIS.

yep it'll work, dongles are not locked

Dongles are locked. I had to get mine unlocked before I went to Thailand.
