I'm actually after a King size mattress. The one I've currently got came with my appartment and is rock hard! If either you're selling one yourself, maybe know someone or a company that is and importantly as I have no car is willing to deliver please let me know :)

Go to any decent department store or furniture store, buy one and ask them to deliver it. I doubt that there is any shop that sells bulky items like mattresses that does not deliver.

Ask at your apartment reception where you will find local mattress shops, they will know.

Have you thought about just asking where you stay to change the mattress and charge you?

Out the back of Sathorn road there somewhere there are a pile of mattress shops.....sure someone will know the area to give a more accurate location.

They deliver.

Depending on the conditon of your current mattress, you might also look into just buying an overlay pad ontop of your mattress. It is substantially cheaper than an entirely new mattress and would also remove the delivery issues. Of course, if your mattress is old - then better to invest in a new one. Good Luck and Good dreams.

Home Pro and some mall shops sell what they call "toppers". They come in many sizes and quality standards. Usually runs 3000 to 4000 baht (about 2000 bt after sale discount) and up for a king size. I've used them for years. That way the apartment building keeps the mattress and you keep the transportable topper. The king size is a bit bulky but still can be stuffed into the back of cab. I advise getting a high quality one, which usually means imported form Europe.

A topper sounds exactly what I'm looking for. Is Home Pro the same as Homeware or a different store. Either way I'm sure I've seen one. I stayed in a hotel in Laos and it had a ridiculously comfortable mattress so when I got back to Bangkok I thought I should upgrade! Thanks for the advice :)

There's Home Pro (usually in Big C Extra malls), Home Works (don't know where in BKK but it's associated with Tesco in Pattaya), but never heard of Homeware.

Homeworks!! Don't know where Homeware came from. Do Homeworks sell them? As I don't live too far from one.

Actually I'm not sure if Home Works sells them. Maybe someone else knows. But Home Pro definitely has them. Almost always on sale. Big C Extra has them but not always good quality.

i bought mine from IKEA at Mega Bangna, it was around 5800 Baht but made a huge difference and would highly recommend getting one rather than a new mattress.

Farang1979, he already said it's at Mega Bang Na. Learn to help yourself. You can look this up on Google Maps or simply do a Google search as well as I can. Same with Big C Extra.
