if not, wat time they open?

I believe that Thai car insurance can be purchased at all the major checkpoints coming from Malaysia. The main one at Sadao should be open during all border opening hours, but I can't say for sure. Never had to cross a border that early in the morning, although I came close a few times (about 7am).
