Is there still a bus running to Don Muang from Pattaya?

There isn't a direct bus. You can take a bus over to the other airport and get a bus from there. My suggestion is to take a cab to Mo Chit Public bus station. That takes about 170 baht and 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Then take a bus to Patts from there for 130 baht. Buses run at least every hour. Whole trip takes under 2 hours.

Take the Pattaya - Suvarnabuhmi Bus from Jomtien Bus Station (THB 134 o/w p.p.) http://www.airportpattayabus.com/

From Suvarnabuhmi Airport to Don Muang: use the free shuttle bus. http://suvarnabhumiairport.com/en/122-transfer-bus-between-suvarnabhumi-don-muaeng

Can somebody please inform me I can still get to Don Mueang Airport from Suvarnabuhmi via this free shuttle bus?

I have a flight out of DM, my idea was take the Jomtien bus to Suv. then the Free Shuttle to DM.

Is this still doable? I heard they were checking boarding passes at one stage and that if you did not have one they would refuse to transfer you.

According to the schedule, the free shuttle runs every 20 - 40 minutes.

Thank you, yes I know this but has anyone done this in the last few weeks. Reason I ask is there was mention that if you did not have a boarding pass from a flight coming in at Suv. they would not take you.

What I need to know is will they take anyone or do you need a boarding pass? Anybody?

Correct you can get the free shuttle IF you have a flight out from DM that day. But coming back you will be refused. TIT
