In Cha-am's main market street, there has been an unusable totally rusted-out pick-up parked at the side of the road for at least the 5 years I have lived here.  Why does the nearby Amphur Office not have this eyesore (not to mention possible danger) removed?  The answer is that no-one cares about matters like this, along with broken pavements, pavements blocked with shop signs or by people running their businesses on them. 

 

I do enjoy the "live and let live" attitude in Thailand, but surely there must be limits?
