Three dead in Kansas City shootings

KANSAS CITY: -- At least three people have been shot dead in attacks at a Jewish community site and a retirement home in Kansas City in the US Midwest.

Police said a suspect, a bearded white man in his 70s, was in custody.

The shootings occurred at the Jewish Community Campus at Overland Park and a nearby assisted living centre, Village Shalom, local media said.

A local hospital said it was treating a teenage boy for a gunshot wound and that he was in a critical condition.

Two people were shot dead in the car park of the Jewish Community Campus, the Jewish Community Centre of Kansas said on its Facebook page.

It's a world news feed and was at least the top story for one day in the USA anyway.

They weren't exactly "random" shootings.
The shooter is a rabid racist and antisemite and he was specifically gunning for Jews.

Ironically none of the people he ended of murdering were Jews.

He will be charged with the murders and with additional hate crime charges, so it's fair to say he won't see the free streets ever again.

As he is already elderly and clearly mentally ill as well, I suspect this was a kind of farewell "old man" crime to express what he's been feeling all his life ... and now not that much to lose.

Speak to the management or ignore the thread then, OK?

It's just a news feed. News happens in specific countries. Nazi killer stories have a certain international interest.

Again, it wasn't a random shooting. The man had targets. JEWS. He was incompetent but that's part of what makes the story more interesting.

There are two Kansas Cities in the US. Never do they mention which one. You'd think before anti-US articles are written and published, the authors would at least learn something about it. Oh, and both are in the midwest.

How is the article anti USA?
