Need Help Finding Something In Bkk

Featured Replies

Hello,

I need some help finding something in Bangkok.

What I need is called Foam Core (or foamcore) in English.

It is a common thing used in the studio. It is basically a sheet of foam, covered on both sides with paper. The foam and paper combonation makes it pretty strong and rigid.

I am attaching some photos of what foamcore looks like.

The paper is usually white, but also comes in black and other colors. I need white, but if i can find black too, that would be great.

Foamcore is very useful for bounching a little light into the set. It is also useful to block light. For example if you have a light firing into the white sweep to make the sweep very very white, you can put a piece of black foam core between the camera and that light so you don't get extra light in the lens.

Can you tell me where to find this in Bangkok?

I have a shoot tomorrow morning! and another shoot next week.

I would really like to have a few sheets of foamcore for these shoots.

Thank you very much,

Mark

Try picture framers or sign witers. They use similar products

Signwriters also use a product that is similar to corrigated cardboard that works well as a refector. Available in a range of colours.
