OP booked a sea-view room, with obviously a little help from his side to make that come true.

The owner lied about this, when advertised.

While making your own landscaping isnt the best solution, i would bet the house the owner wouldnt want to give discount/refund due her misquiding advertising.

(What would you think if instead of a jaccuzzi you find a tub?, would you think it is right when you paid for jaccuzzi?...that sea-view came with extra price, for sure!)

I would say you bring the police on, let them know that the owner lie about the place, and threatening you about a f.cking tree. Not that OP cut the whole thing, anyway.

Where does it say OP booked sea-view room?

OP says there is beach view from his room, but was blocked by the trees.

OP decided to make it into a sea view and now will be paying for it and i really hope dearly.

Can not understand for the life of me, why some people think they can rent hotel and have the right to do whatever they like without consequences.

EVEN IF, OP booked sea view room but was given different room, he is not entitled to make it sea view by breaking or moving whatever he does not like.

It is a tree on a private property which cost money to maintain and possibly money to replace.

May be hotels should have books out "rules for dummies" if you break something, you pay for it

Something does cover everything down to a handle on the wardrobe or some may think if its not mentioned, it should not be charged

Unless OP used a real brush cutting tool, or palm fron cutter, he must have done a terrible job, and not only does the tree probably look like it was attacked,
