You certainly don't need to be rich to live in TH. 800k THB shouldn't be a stretch for anyone retired. All else fails, hate to endorse skirting the requirement, but an agent sorts many out here, or so we read, that can't swing the 800k. Only thing that would keep me out of TH, would be need for constant healthcare, and since a Yank, not sure I even fit in that category. Ellen & partner are rich, so can live anywhere. No real need to leave the USA, for any reason, Trump or left/right, as can live anywhere and avoid all that silliness, but just not following MSM. The USA is not that divided or on the brink on civil war, only on MSM. I could live anywhere in the USA, PC/left/right/woke is easily avoided, if you don't seek it out. -

Jomtien Immigration - no queues yesterday 21st November, amazing!! Still needs 3 hours wait
I was told by agent who is going my retirement visa that i had to go back to immigration ...but she said only take one minute? I am thinking right one minute my butt...so i go at 1 pm on thursday...go as told to desk 8 show them a receipt from agent. They point to a guy sitting in a chair nearby so go to him. He pulls out phone takes pic of the receipt thing from agent and says follow me. I of course am thinking ok here we go to sit in line somewhere...but no, he simply wants me to stand in front of a white wall. Takes a pic of me and says finished? Total time probably 45 seconds. Shocked but happy. -

Thailand vs Panama. Decisions Decisions!
hi, I have had an offer from an old pal of mine to relocate to Panama, all expenses paid, free bed and board and a senorita to boot. however I have never been there before and I am quite content with my life here in Thailand. Has anyone been to Panama before? He tells me the lifestyle over there is amazing, great weather, girls are awesome and there is always something going on. Visas are excruciatingly easy to obtain and the food is quite good too. Just looking for a bit of advice before I make my final decision. Thanks. -
