Sandman77
Just stay 10 days in siem reap, today I ordered new lens, and wondering about the big price difference to Thailand , for exactly same brand essilor have also another called Osa Same specifications uv light and scratch protection on top Charon I payed a year ago around 6500 baht! In past I remember beautiful optic was cheaper! But here in Cambodia only 34 dollar for a pair! Standart lens offer for 9 dollar! For me comparing to a eu lens With a 10 time higher price the bowing of glas surface not look identical ! But many online shops offer also pairs for 60€ , and import them from Asia , if it would be a fake , it's could not sale in the eu!
papa al
Sounds like a very good price. Maybe I'll ride over to SR and have some of my old frames re-fitted. How long does it take them to do the work? Can you recommend a particular shop?
David48
One of my few disappointments with the products and services available (when compared to cost and quality back in the West) is the countries Optical services. Cr*ap glasses at inflated prices. Maybe the dominance of one particular player who sets the price?

Sure easy to buy online. There is a thread in the Pattaya forum where Phil Conners has posted his experience with easy buying lenses online. He's not the only one .
