See what happens when you take a stand against corruption? Grenades thrown at your house, feces thrown at your car, coffins with feces and used tampons burned at your gate. So if you dare to speak against the PTP or Red Shirt party be prepared to face their justice. They are fighting for true democracy where the elected majority ruled with an iron fist. You say you want to use the courts to stop them? Heheee go ahead and try. They will intimidate, harass, or threaten anyone who tries. They will hunt you down and retaliate by any means possible. They will do it all without fear of reprimand or reprisal be because they do it for their leader and for democracy.

Then you get that saying , what go's around, comes around , that would be General Prayath's, job I would say.

We will never get to know who launched the grenade. The Sheeple will say that it was The Red Shirts. which is what was required.

Who knows, you may be right. The trend seems to be away from grenades, towards shit. Red shirted, monk beaters now prefer to throw shit, blood and used sanitary napkins. More disgusting but less lethal.

Chalerm said that Dr Narong had bet the wrong horse and that he would face the consequence once the government is back to the power.

Maybe someone took too much ear medicine and got impatient.

He hasn't taken a stand against corruption. If anything, the argument can be made that senior bureaucrats have benefited from questionable procurement contracts. These bureaucrats have tenure and go back 10-25 years. The health ministry has some bloat and it seems no one can touch it. This isn't about someone taking an ethical stand, but rather is another example of someone protecting his personal fiefdom. Ask yourself, how these deputy ministers and senior agency heads manage to live in nice homes and drive nice cars etc. on their salaries? These officials were not PTP appointees. Many go back to Abhisit, the military junta, the Thaksin and the prior military dictatorship eras.

Maybe it was a Redshirt, or maybe it was someone using this as an opportunity to settle a score.

Keep in mind that the health ministry has one the most complicated and extensive procurement setups of any ministry.Perhaps the transport ministry comes close. These ministries expenditures make the rice pledging program look like chump change.

You missed the point completely.

He did take a stand - against a CAPO summons designed to intimidate. Full stop.

Many changes in positions will be needed no doubt, but your point distracts away from the intimidation and violence that are used systematically - to prevent people from taking a stand. Full stop.

Good no injuries, Thaksin will have to offer less pay as their aim sure is amateurish. One day it'll all catch up to him. A prolonged agonizing disease would serve him most accordingly for all he has done to wreck the lives of other and the country. And yes, I am concluding he organized it; as he has time & again like we all know.

better to be a sheeple, than a nincompoop

But perhaps the latter is sometimes better renumerated ? whistling.gif

Possibly, but being a nitwit means also not knowing the difference...
