:D ? I am daft clearly :o

It is not wise to speak of such things in which you do not know, KCPhil. Besides, Weishaupt is irrelevant now. Remember, there is always someone watching. :o

I used to walk by that shop all the time, and thought the exact same :fnord: thing. Glad to know there's other people out there who know the truth!

Anyone feel like informing the ignorant? I thought the Illuminati was a load of BS.

Well the illuminati may or may not exist any longer.

As for the sign and the name “Weishaupt” – Johann Adam Weishaupt was a founding member of the German/Bavarian based “illuminati” – somewhere back around 1776. Their goal, as I recall was the abolition of all governments and religions.

The sign as it appears in Bangkok however, I would guess has more to with the Weishaupt Corporation that sells gas/oil/ and dual fuel burners than having anything to do with the illuminati – then again that whole corporation could just be a front?

Of course, the name could be referring to something else entirely :o

It wouldn't be wise to advertise your presence so openly, unless it's a cover. :D

Clearly a burning question.

call them.

ask them.

report them:

I wonder how the reception gal will pronounce weishaupt - quite a tongue breaker!

perhaps another cover-up for the new world dominion of the bavarians.
