Nothing will ever come of this. Just as the NACC and Constitutional Court jumped all over Yingluck and finally ousted her they will be slow to do anything on these charges or ultimately they will dismiss the charges.

It seems like the government/PTP are quick to lay charges when the whim takes them, and then realize afterwards that they have no real basis for the charge.

Of course with the paucity of details available for all of this who knows. Who knows what the definition of terrorism is here ... it might be enough to say that you think the government is doing a poor job of governing. Obviously Suthep has said a lot more than that, and caused disruptions by demonstrating, occupying streets, a park, and government offices at different times. Personally I don't really see the basis for sedition or for terrorism.

The office of the Attorney General, the DSI, and CAPO, are, at the same time, both puppets of Thaksin and a joke. Every time one of them brings trumped up charges, the courts nullify them. These new charges will be nullified, too. Of all the charges brought against Suthep so far, only one is still outstanding. Since they know they have absolutely no power or authority to arrest Suthep, these charges are only designed to keep the gullible Red Shirts fooled into believing the fight is still on and winnable. It is not. Thaksin gambled by dissolving Parliament, hoping for a quick mandate and return of the PTP to power, and he lost. He got beat by the same tactics in early 2006 by the same Democrats. How stupid is he? Stupid enough to do the same thing expecting a different result. He is almost out of tactics as soon, the CAPO will be disbanded for corruption with their unaccountable spending. Soon, also, will come the dissolution and five year ban on Puea Thai Party. Thaksin will be down to third stringers to form his new puppet party, with people whom he hardly knows and whose loyalty is untested. Once the UDD leadership are sure he is finished, they will simply take his money and offer him lip service only. He may think he has a chance to come back to power in Thailand but not in this lifetime. The sooner he accepts that fact, the sooner Thailand can get back on the road to recovery.

Too bad Thaksin will spend the rest of his days funding low-level terrorists attacks on Thailand; 'If I can't have the power, I'll make it where no one else wants it'. He will die a bitter old man.

So what has suthep to do with exposing corruption when the only alleged corruption case involving the PTP government was being investigated by the NACC over a year ago.

Likewise what involvement has suthep had in bringing to the nation and the international community attention the nepotism when the Thawil case has it's origins back in 2012 when Thawil first petitioned the courts for wrongful dismissal.

I have to disagree with that, the PTP has been building up a bubble economy, borrowing to stimulate the economy and encourage foreign investment with significantly less real underlying growth. At the point at which foreign investment slows down and borrowing limits are reached, the bubble bursts and Thailand will go through a great recession. This is inevitable and will happen regardless of Suthep's rebellion. The difference is that the later it happens the worse it will be. Suthep's little rebellion will help to create uncertainty causing foreign investors to pull out and in addition to the 2 trillion baht loan bill that was blocked, help bring Thailand into a recession early limiting the long term damages.
