I am curious what is the penalty for this kind of thing?

If they were thai it would be 5baht and 5 minutes time served .

Being falang i wouldnt be surprised if they are still incarcerated and 100,000 baht fine.

Is there an online CCTV where they are incarcerated? Let's stream it. What's the link?

What are the odds?

I'll place the minimum bet that they get off with more than that.

They never asked me if I had a gf. Smiley 1 said to Smiley 2 in Thai that I did cause 2 asked 1 if I did. It was not in a village. I speak Thai and read body language well. Being friendly and flirting are two different things. Women give significant tells in the body language. Their is a female host of Who Wants to be a Millionaire that gives the answer away with her eyes. Surprised nobody has noticed but the show is pre recorded by months and getting on the show is hard. The other factor is country women are more likely to date farangs. Bangkok Thais are less friendly and less open to it.
