Hi All,

my 30-day visa exempt will expire soon (obtained by land crossing near Kanchanaburi), and I would like to know what are my best options to get back in.

before this current visa exempt, I had another 30-day visa exempt but entering with plane. before that, I had been on Non Immigrant B visa for over 2 years.

I understand from recent posts about the new immigration rules, that doing an in/out by land could be risky.

What if I just fly out (say to Cambodia) and fly in the next day?

Also, I am currently registering a Limited Thai company that will allow me to apply for another Non Immigrant B visa within the next 2-3 weeks, as I will open my own business and will be able to apply for it with all required company paperwork.

Should I bring with me some kind of proof such as bank book or other documents that can prove that I am about to regularly and legally work in Thailand and run a business?

Would be great if someone could help to clarify above doubts.

I know that there have been numerous topics and posts about this, but I couldn't find one that would answer above questions.

Thank you,

Diego

We have not gotten any reports of anybody not getting stamped back in yet. There is even an ongoing topic about that crossing.

If it was me I would go out for a single entry tourist visa. I would say it will be some time before you will be able to go out a non-b. You will need a letter of approval for a work permit application before you will be able to get it.

Thank you for the reply smile.png

Which embassy/consulate would you recommend to apply for the single entry tourist visa? what would I get, 60 days?

You will get a 60 day entry that can be extended for 30 days at immigration.

Vientiane is a good location for getting the visa.
