You have no authority. It makes perfect sense (IF you stop to think about it) to be aware of any further restrictions that may be imposed. Sometimes I feel like I'm living in some sort of extra terrestrial soap opera rather than a country. You know what you should do. Sell the story to Hollywood or is this just another disguised 'if you don't like it leave' statement. Ah the old ways, don't think, don't comment, so quaint.. It's not a list of what the military has decided to do in the current situation. Indeed it just states the powers given to the army in that case, no need to panic, but I think it's good to know as many have asked if there is a curfew. No curfew for now. I guess they will be slogging away with their spreadsheets. Martial Law means that the police now fall under the army. Not sure where Tharit now stands. First of all, he is right to be doing what he is doing. The situation was getting quite out of hand. CAPO has been relieved, as have some other agencies more aligned with Pheu Thai. Jatuporn's rally has been surrounded and contained. The PDRC has called off their walk, in deference to the military. The Pheu Thai administration was not told of this in advance. All these actions give clues. In very quick order Prayuth has taken complete control. Jatuporn has clearly been taken completely off-guard. For a situation as potentially volatile as this, Prayuth has already achieved a remarkable sense of control. It means that all the impediments that Pheu Thai was routinely erecting against the Senate, the Constitutional Court, the NACC, and the PDRC - have all stopped. The constitutional process can proceed without impediment. A fully functioning prime minister - who will indeed be acceptable to both Phue Thai and the Democratic party - will likely now be nominated in the Senate as per the constitution, as well as a fully functioning cabinet. Likely, they will have limited powers, paving the way for actual and real discussions between all parties for a reform package. It is as promising a climate as one could have reasonably hoped.
