More explosive devices left on the roadside in East Pattaya

PATTAYA:--Thursday evening saw a further discovery of explosive devices which appear to have been left by individuals who may be concerned at the consequences of being caught with such items following threats from the Military of punishments which are due to come into force from 10th June.

Banglamung Police and Royal Thai Navy Bomb Disposal Officers made their way to the scene on Highway 36 on the Rayong-bound carriageway in the Nong Pla Lai area. The road was closed for a time while officers inspected the items and safely removed them for destruction at a later date.

It appears the searches of various properties are causing some people to get nervous and abandon their toys by the side of the road rather than explain where they got them from.

Just think about how much fun, the motocy gangs would have, if they had found them.

Or any Thai Visa NRA supporters.

A public plea to bad people with serious weapons:

There is a new sheriff in town, and ownership of these weapons is not going

to go down very well if caught. But instead of dropping them off by the roadside, could you

please just throw them in a deep part of the ocean somewhere ?? Thanks !!

If the owners of such devices are not careful, the curfew will return!
