It appears that The Daily Mail is now unblocked - at least on TOT.

Yep, same to me (ToT). Tested just now:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/index.html

Even the probably unwanted/suspicious story about a Thai royal can be opened.

In the past there was the curious situation that e.g. entrance through the homepage was blocked while deep links could be opened.

To me it looks like a "glitch" at ToT tongue.png

not "again" it never was unblocked - you probably got Mail on Line which isn't blocked.

I think the Mail is an appalling rag but "blocking" it is an even more appalling act.....a government that thinks it can censor speech is a government that by definition hates some of the people it is meant to be representing.

Would be helpful if you provide a link to what you are writing about!

"Mail Online" WAS blocked and is now unblocked.

This link could not be opened for quite a while:

Which "Daily Mail" are you writing about?

Probably writing about the same link as you. It is still blocked here, but I'm not using TOT. Using two other ISP,s 3BB and DTAC and its blocked without a proxy.

I am on ToT and currently no VPN or proxy in use.

As I already speculated: it must be a glitch (they simply made an error) biggrin.png

I was convinced when I saw that the incriminating article about the Royals was visible.

I hesitate to check for an article in another tabloid that is even more dangerous to see/know in Thailand (would bring you to jail when publishing/distributing in Thailand).

This tabloid was also blocked.

That link is still blocked on 3BB Chiang Mai with the MICT message.

That link (which is for the Daily Mail Online - I also have no idea what you refer to if you refer to something else, that domain is commonly known as Mail Online - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mail_Online) is blocked for me on TOT as it has been for most of the last year.

Yesterday though I did accidentally end up on a deeper page with a crappy article about fans of Kanye West fans thinking that Paul Mcartney is a new unknown artist. Thankfully that page is no longer accessible.

As I supposed: it WAS a temporary "glitch" at ToT that Daily Mail Online was unblocked.

Today it is blocked again!

Also deeper links.

All of the following are blocked:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/registration/login.html

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/

and redirected to the well known:

My apologies, yes you are correct. I just looked again and Hola seems to have made several improvements since I last looked. Hardly ever use it and don't read the DM either so wasn't up to date. Thanks for clarification.
